OBA 2021

SOT Image-1.jpg

What a year! After surviving COVID19, we've been clobbered with a new Covid variant. Yet God is still good; God is still on His throne; and God's Word still changes lives.

The Opened Bible Academy continues to teach over 223 committed current students not only how to study the Bible but also how to teach and share the gospel of Jesus Christ! Their seminary-trained instructors continue to meet weekly with them by Zoom. And donations still make this possible.

Out of caution, we will once again celebrate the mission God has given us with a virtual event, Stories of Transformation. We plan to feature OBA Stories of Transformation online from Thanksgiving until the end of 2021. We will miss seeing you in person, but we hope you will be informed, encouraged, and inspired by a series of videos showing various ways that studying an opened Bible transforms hearts and changes lives.

Please help us continue to offer exceptional biblical and theological education tuition-free to anyone to whom God has given the desire.

Some generous OBA donors have offered to match every donation made by December 31, up to $25,000!

Gifts are Tax Deductible

Stories of Transformation

Meet Melisa Smith, a 2017 graduate of the Opened Bible Academy. Melisa completed the very first OBA application and even before graduating has been an integral member of the OBA staff.

OBA Graduation 2021

We held our first ever virtual graduation in April 2021. We celebrated graduates from the Houston and Dallas areas for their hard work and perseverance. These OBA graduates came to class week after week for 2 ½ years to intensively study and learn God’s Word.

When people visit OBA classes, they always tell us how impressed they are with our students. Think about it; how many people in today’s world give God the time these graduates have to really get to know Him through His Word?
