OBA 2023 Impact

Thanks to many partners who freely offered time, talent, treasure, and space, the Opened Bible Academy had another incredible year of transforming hearts and changing lives.

Served With Excellence

The Opened Bible Academy served 271 students over four quarters in virtual and in-person classrooms. Plus, we served 124 students in our four summer workshops. OBA servants donated more than 11,000 hours to our mission.

Instructed Weekly In Classrooms

Forty-five instructors, all seminary graduates, and twenty classroom community leaders, all OBA graduates, actively served current students this year. Fourteen new instructors and classroom community leaders joined our team.

Taught Courses In A Correctional Facility

The Opened Bible Academy served at the Diboll Correctional Facility, where six men completed the Foundations Certificate and another fifteen men enrolled and completed their first class.

Enrolled New Students

The Opened Bible Academy enrolled 91 new students in our Bible Exploration and Bible College Seminary Preparation programs. These students committed to a 30-month study through the Bible.

Shared The Gospel

Opened Bible Academy students actively used what they learned to share the Gospel. They boldly initiated close to 3,000 conversations about Christ, conversations which God used to add 546 new believers to His Kingdom.

Honored Student Dedication

The Opened Bible Academy honored the committed study of sixty new graduates with commencement celebrations in Houston, Dallas, and Diboll.
